Information on what to do if you forget your password or if your account is locked
If you've just forgotten your password, and not locked your account, you can quickly and easily reset it yourself.
From the Elevate login screen, select 'Forgotten your password'.
Then on the next screen, input your username and complete the section confirming you're not a robot. Then click 'Submit'.
If you do not know your username, one of your colleagues with administrator access can find this for you under the 'Edit User' section in the business management tab.
You will then be sent an email containing a link to reset your password.
This will only be valid for 30 minutes, so it's important to check your inbox as soon as possible, as well as your junk folder.
The link in your email will take you to a screen that will ask you to input characters from your memorable word or phrase that you will have created when first logging on to the platform.
Once you have entered these, click 'Submit'.
If you cannot remember your memorable word or phrase, you will need to call Elevate customer operations on 0345 600 2399.
You will then be asked to choose a new password. Once you have entered this and confirmed it in the second box, click 'Go'.
Your password reset will now be complete.
If you have locked your Elevate account, any of your colleagues with administrator access can unlock this for you using the following process.
Go to 'Business management', then 'Edit user', then search for the appropriate user. Once you've found them, click on their name to select them.
You can then click 'Next' through Steps 1 and 2. On Step 3: 'Account controls', under 'Edit access' you will need to deselect 'Lock account' and select 'Expire password' and 'Reset password'. Then click 'Next'.
You should now see that all data has been successfully validated and can now click 'Submit'.
We will then send the user an email with a link to create a new password, which they will need to action within 30 minutes.
